Drinks

Drinks brings together the books about what sits beside the plate. The category is divided into Wine, Cocktail & Bar and Coffee.

Under Wine you'll find The World Atlas of Wine, which made publishing history when it first appeared in 1971 and has since sold more than five million copies. The ninth edition has been revised with new maps and sections on the effects of climate change. There is also Aaron Ayscough's The World of Natural Wine, Jancis Robinson's The 24 Hour Wine Expert and the Swedish Trettio Vinkällare on the art of storing and ageing wine.

Cocktail & Bar is the largest section. Dave Arnold's Liquid Intelligence applies measurable physics to ice, clarification and carbonation. Cocktail Codex builds the entire world of cocktails around six fundamental recipes and won both a James Beard Award and a Spirited Award. Death & Co brings together 500 recipes from the bar that helped shape the modern cocktail renaissance. There are also Swedish titles on the home bar, Swedish spirits, gin and tonic and the perfect dry martini.

Coffee is dominated by world barista champion James Hoffmann, with The World Atlas of Coffee and How to Make the Best Coffee at Home.
