Veark

Veark is a design-driven brand from Copenhagen where kitchen tools are treated as instruments, and the form follows accordingly. The knives are drawn in Copenhagen and forged in a single piece of stainless steel in Solingen. The silhouette with the open, wrench-inspired handle has become Veark's signature, and the forging gives each knife its own pattern in the handle. The RS-M40 magnetic bar with its blue connectors builds on the same industrial design language, with shelves, containers and hooks that turn the knife bar into part of the wall.

Behind several of the products are named designers, including Berlin-based Jule Witte with the HD-PE cutting boards and Danish Kim Richardt with the Tool One wooden utensils. The range also includes aprons in cotton and linen, kitchen towels, leather oven mitts and stainless steel skewers and tongs. Scandinavian design with few materials and clear forms, made to be seen in the kitchen.
