The paring knife is the knife you reach for when the long blade is too much for the task: peeling a lemon, trimming a pepper, removing a seed pod, cutting away a blemish from a potato. It is detailed work that requires a short blade and full control, and a blade longer than 10 cm starts getting in the way of the hand.
Veark's PRK10 takes the brand's Solingen construction down to the small format: a single piece of German steel, no separate parts, the open oval handle that makes the knife recognisable as Veark even in the short version. The design identity does not disappear with the size, making the PRK10 a natural complement to the longer knives in the collection. On a magnetic bar next to a chef's knife and a bread knife it fills its place and looks like it belongs.
Blade length 10 cm. Full steel construction, a heavy and robust knife with an industrial workhorse feel. Stainless steel X50CRMoV15, 58 HRC. Made in Solingen, Germany.
