What is sous vide?

Sous-vide is when food is vacuum-packed and cooked at a low temperature for a long time in a water bath with extremely high precision. It's fabulously delicious, the texture is divine - and it's easy! When French cooking legends like Paul Bocuse and Joël Robuchon wanted to find a way to preserve an ingredient intact, without losing flavour and nutrients during cooking, they created the sous vide method.
