Campania is a book about the Amalfi Coast and the region that gave the world pizza, the Caprese salad and the oversized Amalfi lemons. With essays by Elisa Carassai, Claudia Durastanti and Margo Schachter, and a postcard epilogue by Darina Allen, the book moves from the narrow alleys of Naples to the slopes of Vesuvius in a mix of recipes, travel writing and portraits.
The book contains 21 classic dishes, many drawn from the kitchen at Belmond's Hotel Caruso, complemented by guest recipes from Nina Clemente, Bernardo Costantino and Salvatore Giugliano. The photographs are by Lea Colombo in an intense, colour-saturated visual language that mirrors the character of the region. Published in collaboration with Belmond.
