The Medium Long Kasai Konro is a solid stainless steel tabletop grill, designed for 3-5 people who demand top class without compromise. The chassis is made of brushed British steel with sturdy handles and durable Kasai ceramic that reflects heat inwards. Thanks to this construction, the bed of embers is extremely efficient and consistently hot - perfect for high-precision work, especially with the binchota.
The grill surface is spacious, making it ideal for smaller cuts, skewers, vegetables, fish and refining sous vide cooking. With the right charcoal, like binchotan, you can quickly create a high temperature without significant smoke - close to 350 degrees or more - while the neighbors won't even hear you. However, the material is more durable than that and can be heated up to 1200°C.
The grill grate is made of solid steel and is stable thanks to small countersunk spikes in the corners. They keep the grid in place, even if you poke around with tweezers, tongs or large skewer binding.
One of the biggest advantages is that all parts can be purchased as spare parts, even the walls and ceramics. This is not a disposable product - the Medium Long model is built to last significantly longer than any other tabletop grill. If the Kasai ceramic turns black with use, you can simply replace the old one with a new one, and even put the worn-out one in the compost.
The machine is 54 × 26.5 × 21 cm in external dimensions and weighs about 15 kg, making it portable but stable. Because the grill operates at such high heat, it requires attention - this is not a grill to leave unattended while it's running.
