Sorbitol powder, also known as glucitol, of the finest quality! Sorbitol is a white, crystalline powder with a slightly sweet taste. The powder is sugar-free, low in calories and non-cariogenic, which means it is ideal as a sweetener or for making sugar-free sweets or other desserts, for example. The powder can be used together with, for example, sugar, proteins and vegetable fats in sweets, desserts, cakes, tarts, jams and marmalades, frostings and various types of fillings. Sorbitol cannot be browned (caramelised) or caramelised like sucrose. Store in a cool place.
