Zipper bags for those who want to cook sous-vide, but don't have a vacuum machine. If you want to use these bags to cook sous-vide, use the "water immersion method".
nThe water immersion method may be a long and tricky name, but it works simply. Immerse the bag of food in the water bath as close to the edge of the zipper as possible to squeeze as much air out of it as possible. You may need to work with your hands to get as much out as possible. Then zip up the bag and voilà - you are ready to start cooking sous-vide!Of course, you can use the bags to freeze food. Just squeeze out as much air as possible and seal. These bags also protect your food from freezer burn. It's worth noting that they can withstand temperatures between -40 and 90 degrees - so you can't boil them. We have them in two sizes: 20 x 1 liter and 15 x 3 liter.
