    • Classic mini pot in double enameled cast iron with black interior. The stainless steel knob has a recess for a ladle. Oven safe up to 220 °C.

       

      Casting iron is an ancient technique that can be traced back to 500 BC in China. It first came to Europe in the 14th century, but cast iron only became common in kitchens and kitchen environments in the 19th century. Chasseur has always had a great love of craftsmanship and materials. Every product that leaves the factory undergoes a thorough quality control by a craftsman.       All products work on induction.

      Care instructions enameled cast iron:

      - Remove sticky labels and wash your enameled Chasseur pot or pan with lukewarm water and a little detergent before using it.

      - Use a plate size on the stove that is appropriate for the size of the product.

      - Before use, grease the product with a little cooking oil using paper towels or similar.

      - Heat slowly on low to medium heat. Excessive heat can damage the enamel.

      - Avoid using steel utensils that can scratch the surface and damage the enamel.

      - Allow the pot/pan to cool before washing it with lukewarm water and detergent (applies only to enameled cast iron pots/pans).

      - It is important to wipe the pot/pan really dry and store it in a dry and cool place.

      - When storing, it is good to lubricate the product with a little cooking oil to keep the enamel in the best condition.

      With proper care, you will be able to enjoy your pot for many years to come. It will only get better with time.
