Planksteak board - Exxent Oak plank for cooking e.g. planksteak in the oven. Available in two sizes: 32x17 cm and 40x21 cm 32x17 cm sold individually 40x21 cm sold in pairs Care instructions To make your plank last as long as possible and give the right flavour, it should be "burnt in" before using it for the first time. Brush the plank liberally with neutral cooking oil. Put them in the oven at 200° and let them stand until the oil has boiled in, about 10 minutes. Take the planks out and brush on more oil and put them another 5-10 minutes in the oven, may need to be repeated. Before placing food on the plank, it should be oiled and slightly preheated in the oven, otherwise there is a risk that the plank "bends" too much. After use, they should be washed under warm running water. Do not soak or machine wash the planks. The planks are not made to be used in a microwave oven.
