This glass is specifically designed for Pinot Noir from new world wine countries, such as New Zealand and the United States. The wines are sweeter and fruitier than Pinot Noir from Europe. What distinguishes the wine glass from the glass for Old World Pinot Noir is the straight section at the top of the cup. This so-called "chimney" guides the wine past the tip of the tongue, making the sweetness of the wine less tangible. A beautiful red wine glass that also fits perfectly with rosé and champagne.
The wine glass also fits: Barbaresco and Barolo (Nebbiolo), Blanc de Noirs, Nerello and Mascalese. Perfect for roséchampagne!
