Alessi is known for quality and design. The shape of this lighter can be traced back to the very oldest known works of art in human history (beyond buffalo and more Venus-like Alessi lighters). Firebird was born in 1993 after a designer workshop where they tried to explore how objects can communicate, inspire, interest and entertain people and make people relate to the product. To a very large extent, they have succeeded. Firebird 2.0, as it is, is electric and rechargeable, unlike its gas-powered predecessor. Nonetheless, it is capable of lighting whatever you need, such as candles. Available in two versions, gold for those who want to show it off and blue for those who don't use it much.
