    • What is more pleasant than cooking and being able to prepare everything in a smooth and efficient way? If we say that cutting and chopping with a sharp knife versus a dull one is as much of a difference as listening to a Dvořák symphony live in the concert hall in Vara versus directly from your cell phone speakers, I think everyone understands exactly what we mean. Suncraft knives have been trusted favorites at KitchenLab for many, many years because of their high quality, perfect balance and long-lasting razor sharpness. With a beautiful hammered finish on the blade and the sleek, elegant black handle, it not only sits well in anyone's fist but also makes an incredibly nice addition to the knife list. To make it easier to get organized in the kitchen with appropriate equipment, we've put the two most important models together in one package. Santoku is the Japanese equivalent of what we would traditionally call a chef's knife. The shape and tip differ slightly between the longitudes and we dare to say that we prefer the Japanese version. Santoku also means three virtues, which means it is suitable for three purposes: meat, fish and vegetables. This will be your all-round knife and best friend in the kitchen. Together with a petty, or peeling knife, you can also take on any challenge in the kitchen. The santokun will be the knife used when something is on the cutting board, while the petty may be used primarily in the air. Peel, cut and fix small spills easily and smoothly with this knife instead of the large and unwieldy santokun. Senzo is a series that has 33 layers of damasked stainless steel with a core of VG10 steel - The hammered finish gives strength to the steel and an improved release property in vacuum situations that otherwise easily arise from potatoes and cucumbers and such. The knife has an incredible sharpness that lasts a long time and is very easy to sharpen. The hardness of the iron is 58-60 HRC. Dimensions of the blades: Santoku 17cm, petty 12cm. Handle in hardwood.
