Horl has provided us with perhaps the simplest way to sharpen knives with complete accuracy. Thanks to the support with a fixed angle, you know that you will always get the angle one hundred percent in place. In addition, it is gentle and easy on your knives, childishly simple and even stylish. Not long after we brought Horl home, the second generation has already arrived. Several improvements have been made and all of a sudden this fantastic knife sharpener feels even more fantastic! With Horl 2, you can choose between a 15° or 20° grinding angle, depending on how you are fit or which knives you have. In addition, the diamond disc is improved compared to the previous model. Included in the kit is a diamond disc and a ceramic disc for fine grinding. Both of these can be exchanged for discs with different grit. BUT HOW DOES IT WORK!? Well, maybe it's time to find out. Start by attaching the knife to the magnet in the holder. It ensures that the angle is fixed. Then you spin the roller with the whetstone on the side towards the edge to sharpen the knife. The roller is equipped with ball bearings to roll smoothly and the low friction is gentle on the blade and means you don't have to wet the stones. The diamond disc brings out a new edge and the ceramic side polishes and sharpens. When one side is done, you simply take the other. Thanks to the fixed angle and the magnet, any knife can be attached to get everything in order. if you have a very large knife, you just put the roll on, for example, a cutting board to get up to the height of the edge.
