John Pawson is an architect and one of minimalism's clearest voices, and Home Farm is the house he and Catherine built over five years in the English countryside. The book contains their hundred favourite dishes, but it's just as much about managing crops by season and a rural lifestyle that's far more considered than it looks. The photography follows suit. This is a book that sells on aesthetics while also holding up content-wise, which not every title in that category manages.
