Global NI is designed by Komin Yamada, who has designed all Global's series, and is well rooted in his design philosophy. For Komin Yamada, quality and innovative design is a process that must take time. The NI series is the new generation of Global knives.
The Global NI range consists of 18 models and two knife sets. The blade, in an oriental design, is made from a single layer of Cromova 18 steel but is slightly thicker than the classic Global knife and has been given an extra grind for extreme sharpness. The handle, which is slightly larger than on the classic Global knife, has a tapered shape that contributes to an ergonomic grip. The characteristic "Global dots" on the handle have taken on a new shape, are uncolored and the handle is characterized by a bright and elegant design.
