The Fire Bowl is a stainless steel basket that you can use instead of the Fire Grate in your Big Green Egg. Simply lift out the Fire Grate and place an appropriately sized Fire Bowl. Why should you do this? Well, by keeping the coals in this basket, your cleaning of the grill is much easier. After use, when everything has cooled down, lift the basket and shake out all the ash and keep all the charcoal pieces that can be used. Some will fall down under the basket as usual, but instead of jostling around and sifting all the ashes in the grill, it will now be much more convenient!
From XLarge and up, it also has an adjustable wall in the middle, which means that you can easily fill with coal on one side to use only half the grill.
