Daniel Humm and Will Guidara document Eleven Madison Park during the period when the restaurant went from well-regarded to world-beating. Francesco Tonelli's photography is a big reason the book has the reputation it does. The recipes are, in practice, utterly useless outside a professional kitchen, but the inspiration value is sky-high. A landmark from 2011 that has since also become a time capsule, seeing as both the restaurant and its owner have gone in wildly different directions.
