A set of two serving containers in different sizes. They offer a convenient way to chop ingredients, make portioned containers of baby food, dressings sauces, marinades and lots of fun. The knives for the container sit in the knife base that screws on like a lid. When you're done, simply unscrew the lid and replace it with a regular one for easy storage or transportation.
The Vitamix Ascent series features Self-detect™ technology, which means that the machine itself senses which container or jug is attached. This means that you don't risk running too hard or maxing out a program designed for a two-litre jug.
The containers are made from BPA-free tritan plastic and all parts, containers, lids and blades are machine washable. The knife blades are laser-cut and made from the same type of hardened stainless steel as all Vitamix knives and have a long lifespan.
3-year manufacturer's warranty.
This starter kit includes a 600 ml container with lid, a 225 ml container with lid and a knife base. It is possible to add more containers that will fit nicely on the same blade base.
Please note that these items are only suitable for the Vitamix Ascent series (models 2300i, 2500i and 3500i) and are not suitable for hot liquids or for use in the microwave..
