Binchotan is a traditional method of making coal that is insanely compact and thus burns for a very long time, smokes extremely little and gets really hot. It has been used in Japan since the 6th century and there is a reason why it is still used today. The contents of this box are sticks or rods, which is often requested when talking about Binchotan. Perfect for table grills, the uniform size combined with the unique properties of the charcoal make it childishly easy to achieve the same result every time. The only difficulty is lighting it. Kindling or Looft lighter is recommended!
The charcoal is completely pure and without additives and so compact that it sounds like two glass rods hitting each other. This means that the coal can also act as claves in a samba train.
The box contains 10 kilos of coal. Remember that a small amount of smoke only prevents the combustion of oxygen and the formation of carbon monoxide. Grill outdoors.
