They're concentrated and powerful, and in too large a glass the alcohol takes over and the aroma falls flat. Rich is the glass for exactly them: a slender, tall glass with a small bowl and a narrow opening.
The small surface means the aromas are released more subtly, so the nuances of the drink come through without becoming overwhelming. The narrow opening keeps your nose from getting as far down into the glass, so the alcohol doesn't sting, and you can enjoy the aroma instead of recoiling. The glass holds approx. 2.8 decilitres and suits fortified wines, sweet wines, dessert wines and all kinds of spirits, from cognac and calvados to rum and whisky.
Rich is part of Zieher's Vision range, where the glasses aren't divided into red and white but named after the character of the drink. The glasses are mouth-blown by hand in lead-free crystal glass, and we recommend hand washing to keep them sparkling. Two glasses per pack.
