30 DAYS OPEN PURCHASEA really fresh wine should feel like a cool breeze on a summer morning. Fresh is the glass for exactly those wines: crisp whites with high acidity, Prosecco, Cava, Crémant and other sparkling wines, and light rosés meant to be drunk with your sunglasses on.
The glass has a wide opening, and that's no accident. A sparkling wine in a narrow glass sends the fizz straight up your nose, so the bubbles take over the aroma. The wide opening instead lets the fizz dissipate gently, so the wine's fresh acidity and bouquet come through properly. The base is shaped like a wave that increases the wine's surface area exposed to the air and gives the aromas a helping hand. The glass holds approx. 2.5 decilitres, just right for a glass that should stay cold and be topped up often.
Fresh is part of Zieher's Vision range, where the glasses aren't divided into red and white but named after the character of the wine. The glasses are mouth-blown by hand in lead-free crystal glass, and we recommend hand washing to keep them sparkling. Two glasses per pack.
