Stylish and functional vacuum sealer from Magic Vac. Activa is the perfect vacuum sealer for those who are looking for a flexible solution for vacuum packaging various foods, whether it is for sous vide cooking or to increase the life of your food in the fridge and freezer, while having some requirements for functionality, capacity and design.
Activa is Magic Vac's newest model and has a stylish design that is both futuristic and retro at the same time. The machine is perfect for those who often use their vacuum sealer as it is practical, user-friendly and functional.
Activa has an automatic program that sucks the air out of your bag and seals it when it considers itself ready. You can manually close the bag at any time during the cycle. On this model, you can also pulse control the vacuum pump to manually adjust how much air you want to get out of the bag, for example if you have marinade in there. Speaking of marinade, there is a marinade program compatible with Magic Vac's glass jars.
On the Activa, you can choose between two positions on the seal, a simple one or a heavier seal that is extra safe for foods that have a looser consistency. In addition, you can set the speed of the pump if you want to be extra careful when packing liquids. During the cycle, you can also press cancel to stop the whole thing, for example if you realize you've missed throwing in a sprig of thyme. Should you, despite all the smart aids, drip and get liquid in the tray, you can easily pick it out and wash by hand or in a machine, instead of standing there with a paper roll and dishcloths and succeeding like that, as with other machines.
In the lid there is a holder for vacuum bags on a roll with a practical cutter that makes it easy and convenient to adjust the amount of bag to your needs. In addition, there is a window so that you can see that the bag is in the right place and that the welding is taking place in the right place. When the vacuum pump is working, it lights up red, while during the sealing of the bag it lights up blue.
The Activa comes with a hose and adapter to connect to Magic Vac's glass boxes with vacuum lids. You can thus easily vacuum pack food boxes for a longer shelf life in the freezer or refrigerator, or for that matter marinate with the aforementioned program.
The machine can handle all sizes of bags or rolls up to 30 cm wide.
The dimensions of the unit are 41.5 x 19.5 x 11.2 cm and the weight is 2.25 kg.
