A French glass that's suitable for cocktails. It's almost a little provocative, considering that many French people still regard anything that isn't wine as a foreign conspiracy. But Silex handles both a negroni and a glass of Bordeaux, without anyone having to take sides.
Silex, which means flint in French, is designed by Rachel and Benoît Convers for La Rochère, which has been making glass in Passavant-la-Rochère since 1475. The glass is made of durable pressed glass with a pattern designed as much for the fingers as for the eye. It's suitable for water, juice, drinks on the rocks and both cold and hot beverages.
Six glasses per pack. Capacity 29 cl, height 9.3 cm. Dishwasher safe. Made in France.
