"A really nice toaster that, after a quick look, makes all other toasters seem to belong to another world age. The functions on this toaster are so smart that they feel obvious and impossible to be without. Well, maybe not the Crumpet setting because that's only relevant in the old British Empire, but everything else. First, the compartments for the bread slices are wide and deep so you can fit a good open-faced lunch sandwich or bagel or whatever. Then Sage has had the good taste to make a small button that activates an elevator that lowers the bread in a soft and pleasant way. We've already attracted a large number of interested parties just internally among our staff. You set the time using a control on the outside. It counts down from the start of the roasting process using LED lights so that you have a constant overview of the process. And of course it is in demand, because sometimes there is the need to interrupt the program and check the situation, which always messes with the timing to get the toasting perfect. Instead, with The Smart Toast, you press the ""A Quick Look"" button and the slices of bread are gently lifted up and revealed before sinking back down to continue toasting. So you don't have to find a wooden butter knife and poke and try to look down into the toast without burning yourself. When the program is finished, those who are a little more daring and laugh at the cancer alarms from acrylamide can easily give their sandwich another 30 seconds by pressing the ""A Bit More"" button. There is no need to start a new toasting cycle to be timed and repeat the problems with the aforementioned check mode.
Other features are Defrost which defrosts, Bagel which toasts only on one side, Crumpet as already mentioned which toasts a little more on one side than the other.
