Stöckel’s Tartufo tongs are developed for hygienic and controlled handling of larger ice cream portions, particularly tartufo and other pre-formed ice cream spheres. The tool grips around the portion and makes it possible to lift, move and place it precisely without deforming the shape, leaving fingerprints or affecting the form with excessive pressure.
The construction is executed in 18/10 stainless steel with plastic components for improved grip and insulation against cold. The mechanical function delivers stable and even pressure around the entire sphere, reducing the risk of surface cracks and ensuring the portion retains its visual expression even during fast service.
The model can be fully disassembled, simplifying cleaning and maintenance.
With a weight of 534 grams, the tool has a clear presence in the hand and a stability that provides control when working with frozen product. It is a specialist tool, not an all-purpose scoop, and performs best in environments where tartufo or similarly sized preparations are handled regularly.
