Olive wood is one of the hardest and toughest timbers used in European knife-making, and it has a natural oil content that makes it resistant to moisture and prevents it from cracking over the years. What sets it apart from more uniform timbers is the variation: the grain and tones differ from handle to handle, which means none of the four knives in this set look exactly the same. That gives the knives a presence at the table that mass-produced cutlery does not have.
The knives are made by Pallarès Solsona in Catalonia with a 12-centimetre blade in stainless steel. The pack contains four knives. Hand wash recommended to preserve the olive wood.
Blade length: 12 cm.
