Since 1829, the small town of Laguiole in Aveyron in southwest France has been producing what many consider to be the world's best corkscrews and food knives. Just as when production began, each knife is still made entirely by hand by skilled craftsmen with long experience, to say the least. The little bee, placed between the handle and the blade, has become the company's signature, making them famous all over the world.
This is a set of a fork and a steak knife with a blade of 11 cm in stainless steel. The handles are made of olive wood. Both handles and blades have been given a matte polished finish.
