Pelotín is a Gordal olive from the second flowering, hand harvested and selected at origin by Bernal’s own team. It shows in the expression. The colour is an intense green and the shape is smaller and rounder than the classic Gordal you may have in mind. The flavour is soft and clean with a fine, dense texture, making it just as suitable as a pure aperitif olive as in a salad where you want a clear olive character without it dominating everything. Here presented in a family friendly 2.5 kg tin for those who find 150 g glass jars somewhat underwhelming.
