For years, we've been a huge fan of Hurom's slow juicers. It's a juicer that can handle anything, whether it's high-fiber ginger, kale that feels like it has no juice, apples, or citrus. The difference compared to other types of juicers is that the slow juicer works slowly, just as the name suggests. This means that it is able to extract much more liquid compared to others. It can also handle more obscure crops with just as successful results as if it were a carrot.
This model can be compared to the classic stalwarts, but also their new model H-AA. The similarities between this and the H-AA are that both use the double mill knives to reduce the speed but still be as efficient. It runs at 43 revolutions per minute (17 revolutions per minute in reverse). Even the outlet for the pulp is better than the first model and easier to clean in both this and the H-AA.
In both these models you get two types of strainer, a fine one for smoother ingredients and a coarse one for thicker fruits and vegetables.
Differences between this and the H-AA are also of course what the price tag should indicate. This has a chassis made entirely of brushed stainless steel, which is more durable and aesthetically pleasing. On this model you also have an LED display that shows whether the machine is on and in which direction it is running. Last but not least, a citrus accessory is also included with this model, which is perfect for all citrus fruits whether it is yuzu or bergamot.
