For several years we have been hugely fond of Hurom's slow juicers. It's a juicer that does it all, whether it's ginger with lots of fibre, kale that feels like it doesn't even contain any juice, apples or citrus. The difference compared to other types of juicers is that the slow juicer works slowly, just as the name suggests. This means that it is able to extract much more liquid compared to others. It can also cope with slightly more obscure crops with just as successful a result as if it were the carrot. Among all the hip new models, there is also a classic stalwart. In and of itself, this model was also the new and improved once upon a time, so it still has some smart improvements over the very first model. For example, it uses dual grinder knives to be able to lower the speed but still be just as efficient. It runs 43 revolutions per minute. Even the outlet for the pulp is better than the first model and easier to clean. The chamber holds 500 ml and can be filled up and mixed with different ingredients or just left open and run. Two types of sieve are included, a fine one for smoother ingredients and a coarse one for thicker fruits and vegetables.
