The Shotoh is a small scale knife for aerial work. This wonderfully beautiful knife from Miyabi has a Damascus blade with 133 layers of steel and a core of MC 66 powder steel with HRC of 66, which has also been ice-hardened at -196°C during production. The knives are delivered hand-sharpened. The handle is made of black maple with a naturally beautiful grain that matches the damascening of the blade. The slightly rounded handle means that the knife sits well in the hand and is pleasant to work with hour after hour, day after day.
