Since 1829, the small town of Laguiole in Aveyron in southwestern France has produced what many consider to be the world's best corkscrews and food knives. Just as when the production started, each knife is still made entirely by hand by skilled craftsmen with long experience.
This is an exclusive set of six traditional food knives (steak knives) with the handle made of wood from one. Each piece of wood is carefully selected by Laguiole's artisans before being shaped by hand.
The knife blades are 11 cm long, the whole knife 23.5 cm, and are made of T12 stainless steel, specially designed and developed by Laguiole. The steel is very durable and keeps its sharpness for a long time.
The knives are packed in a gift box and of course with a certificate of authenticity.
