Since 1829, the small town of Laguiole in Aveyron in southwest France has been producing what many consider to be the world's best corkscrews and cutlery. Just as when production started, each fork is still made entirely by hand by highly skilled craftsmen with long experience.
This is an exclusive set of six traditional dessert spoons with the handle made of wood from tuja, usually native to North Africa and Spain. Tuja is a low and slow-growing tree that, thanks to its beautiful interior, makes a very decorative handle for the spoons. Each piece of wood is carefully selected by Laguiole's craftsmen before being shaped by hand.
The spoon is 14.5 cm long and the steel is brightly polished.
The spoons are packaged in a gift box and of course with a certificate of authenticity.
