"Since 1829, the small town of Laguiole in Aveyron in southwest France has been producing what many consider to be the world's best corkscrews and food knives. Just as when production began, each knife is still made entirely by hand by skilled craftsmen with long experience, to say the least. The small bee, placed between the handle and the blade, has become the company's signature, making them famous all over the world.
The blades are 11 cm long, the whole knife 23.5 cm, and are made of T12 stainless steel, specially designed and developed by Laguiole. The steel is very durable and keeps its sharpness for a long time.
The steel is polished and the handle is made of micarta in red and blue. Micarta is a hard pressed mixture of fabric, including linen. The material is often used as a handle for knives and is very hard and durable.
Dishwasher safe.
The knives are packaged in a gift box and of course with a certificate of authenticity."
