Santokun is the Japanese chef's knife and can be used for everything you use a regular chef's knife for. It works for most things that need to be cut, sliced and especially chopped. This santokun is olive-shaped, which will help prevent slices of vegetables from sticking to the blade.
Raw Obsession is a company from Gothenburg that makes a small series of kitchen knives with 67 layers and VG-10 steel. The knife blade is made in China from Japanese steel. The organic maple handle comes from Canada. The entire knife is assembled and sharpened in Gothenburg.
A very solid and affordable series of knives that are balanced and comfortable in the hand.
