Salt mill in hand-patinated beechwood, the sister piece to the Bistro Antique pepper mill with the same aged finish. Each example is worked by hand and is unique. Inside sits Peugeot's new Zirlion mechanism in zirconium oxide ceramic, a material harder and more corrosion-resistant than traditional ceramic. The tooth-on-tooth grinding delivers an exceptionally even result and, on the finest setting, a powdered salt that dissolves quickly and distributes evenly over food. Lifetime guarantee on the mechanism. Grinding coarseness is adjusted with the knob at the top: tighten for finer, loosen for coarser. Made in France from PEFC-certified wood. Delivered without salt.
