Finally, we have the honour of representing one of the best and most useful grills launched in recent years! Otto Wilde Grills is a salamander that is available in both gas and electric versions. With its very strong heating elements, a heat is created that quickly produces Maillard reactions on meat, fish, pizza and vegetables. Since all the heat comes from above and largely in the form of infrared (IR) radiation, the heating is even, even if the surface of the raw material is uneven. In conclusion to a sous vide baked product, we would like to say that this grill is second to none. The fact that the heat comes from above prevents anything from dripping onto the heating elements, gassing and creating a mass of os. Therefore, the grill is perfect for indoor use (although the gas version obviously requires a certain air volume for combustion reasons). All grills are made of stainless steel. The grill grate is made of cast iron to provide, if desired, the right grill edges. For cleaning, they are easy to disassemble and the base is machine washable. The entire design exudes traditional German quality, from the stepless height adjustment of the grill surface to the buttons and controls. Grill grate in treated cast iron. The grills can of course be supplemented with accessories, such as the stylish aluminum box that allows your Otto Wilde grill to be easily transported between house, car, boat and country house. Of course, we are no longer completely objective in our judgments about this manick. Fortunately, these grills have been sold in the US for just over two years so a visit to Youtube and other forums delivers plenty of independent testing and reviews. Funnily enough, they are as enthusiastic as we are. The difference between the O.F.B and the O.F.B Lite (below functions are only available on this model): - individual settings for the two burners - removable top (for example to run gas or electricity) - stepless raising and lowering of the grate.
