In a service flow where guests order at the counter and then collect the food themselves, the same problem always arises: how does the guest know when the order is ready without staff having to call out, and how do you prevent the guest from picking up the wrong tray? This system solves it with one puck per guest. The guest takes a puck when ordering, staff enter the order number on the control unit when the food is ready, and the puck carrying that number activates. The digital display on the puck shows the order number — the guest sees that the food is ready.
Three signal types can be freely combined: vibration, sound and LED light. In a noisy environment, vibration and LED work better than sound. In a quiet café, sound alone may be sufficient. All signal types are switched off with a single click. The pucks measure 70×68×20 mm, compact and comfortable to hold in the hand or keep in a pocket while waiting.
The control unit has push buttons and a built-in antenna. The range is 350 metres, covering most service environments including outdoor seating and food trucks with a queue at a distance. One control unit handles up to 998 programmed pucks, so the system scales up easily without replacing the hub.
The set includes control unit, 10 pucks, charging station, charger and USB-C cable. The pucks stack on the charging station, saving counter space. Additional pucks can be purchased separately in sets of 10 if the operation requires more in circulation at the same time.
