Petits fours are the miniatures of French patisserie, bakes meant to be eaten in one or two bites and ideally looking like jewellery. This one is square with a fluted edge and makes neat little bakes with sharp corners. The mould is sold individually, so you can mix shapes and build your own assortment.
The coating is a two-layer, PFAS-free non-stick that Gobel describes as one of the thickest around, so even the smallest cakes release without butter. The mould handles 250°C and is made in France by Gobel, who have been making bakeware since 1887.
