Pastawheel has one handle and three interchangeable wheels: a smooth one, a fine zigzag and a wide zigzag. Change wheels in seconds and go from straight lasagne sheets to ruffled pappardelle and decorated biscuits without opening a single extra drawer.
The smooth wheel gives clean cuts for sheets, ravioli and biscuit shapes. The fine zigzag wheel gives neat, decorative edges for lasagne, farfalle and filled pasta. The wide zigzag wheel is great for pappardelle and for giving shortcrust biscuits and pie lids a more playful edge. All three roll smoothly on a precision axle, so the cut is even and the dough isn't dragged along.
The handle is made of silver anodised aluminium and shaped to sit securely in the hand in several different grips, without slipping even when your fingers are floury. It's a distinctly modern tool with the same clean lines as Marcato's pasta machines, and it takes up less room in the drawer than three separate wheels.
