Pasta with a crank is charming the first time. The tenth time, with a big family dinner ahead and a dough that needs to go through the rollers eight times per sheet, you start dreaming of a third arm. This set gives you something better: both hands free.
In the box you'll find Marcato's classic Atlas Plus pasta machine and the Pastadrive motor. The motor attaches with a bayonet fitting in the same place as the crank, and drives the rollers at a steady pace while you feed in the dough with one hand and catch the sheet with the other. The machine can stand on the worktop without a table clamp when the motor is attached, and the motor comes off just as easily if you want to crank by hand.
Atlas Plus makes four kinds of pasta without changing attachments: lasagne sheets from the rollers, and fettuccine, tagliolini and round spaghetti from the built-in double cutter. Thickness is set in ten steps, from 4.8 mm for working the dough to 0.5 mm for the very thinnest sheets. The rollers are 150 mm wide and made of anodised aluminium, and the body is chrome-plated steel. There are also ten extra attachments available, and the motor drives them just as well.
Includes pasta machine with double cutter, motor, power cable, crank and table clamp. Dimensions approx. 34 x 21 x 16 cm with the motor attached. 220 V. Wipe with a cloth after use. The parts are not dishwasher safe.
