The oval aspic mould is retro in the best possible way. It makes jellied starters that look at home on a French bistro table, but just as happily small cakes, panna cotta and desserts that need to be turned out neatly. The mould measures 75 x 55 x 38 mm and has a plain base, so the surface comes out clean and smooth.
The coating is a two-layer, PFAS-free non-stick that Gobel describes as one of the thickest around, and the mould handles 250°C, so it works as well in the oven as in the fridge. It is sold individually. Made in France by Gobel, who have been making bakeware since 1887.
