The FYS mat is made from elastomer resin with a surface that grips the worktop whether dry or wet. It requires no pressure, no adjustment and no soaking. Place it under the chopping board, set the board down and get to work. The material is antibacterial, approved for food contact under EU FCM requirements and Japanese food standards, and resistant to dishwashers and cleaning agents. The mat also withstands temperatures of up to 80°C. Beyond use with a chopping board, the FYS mat is one of the more versatile accessories in a well-equipped kitchen: place it under a whetstone while sharpening to keep the stone in place and collect water, use it to grip stubborn jar lids, or put it under a bowl you want to hold steady with one hand while whisking with the other. Choose the size according to use: FYS-2512 (250×120 mm) is the narrower version intended for whetstones and slim chopping boards. FYS-3025 (300×250 mm) suits medium-sized chopping boards and is the natural choice for the home kitchen. FYS-5030 (500×300 mm) covers standard-sized professional work boards.
