At KitchenLab we have chosen to take a stand on which food colors to include in our range. Although azo colors are very bright and vibrant, there is a reason why the warnings need to be so large. We have found colors we like that are made from all-natural ingredients with all-natural dyes. In addition, all the basic colors are represented, which means that you can mix your own shades endlessly. These colors are water soluble which makes them suitable for meringues, macarons, glazes and cake icing (depending on the recipe). The colors are in powder form and each jar contains 25g.
