At KitchenLab we have chosen to take a stand on which food colors to include in our range. Although azo colors are very bright and vibrant, there is a reason why the warnings need to be so large. We have found colors we like that are made from all-natural ingredients with all-natural dyes. In addition, all the basic colors are represented, so you can mix your own shades endlessly. These colors are fat-soluble which makes them suitable for chocolate, cocoa butter, buttercream, marzipan, sugarpaste and cake icing (depending on the recipe). The colors are in powder form and each jar contains 25g.
