Pastadrive gives you both hands back. The motor takes over the cranking, and you can focus on the part that actually requires feel – the dough.
The motor attaches to the pasta machine with a bayonet fitting, in the same place as the crank, and drives the rollers at a steady pace. It's heavy and stable enough that the machine can stand on the worktop without a table clamp, so you can use it on the kitchen table, an island or anywhere there's a socket. It fits Marcato's Atlas 150, Atlas 180 and Ampia pasta machines, as well as the Marga Mulino mill and most other Marcato machines.
This is the newer version of Pastadrive, and it fits machines made from 2013 onwards. Older machines from 1998 to 2012 have a different coupling and won't work with this motor.
