The Mineral B Element series is made of iron and has a beeswax that prevents oxidation. Before use or burning, the beeswax must be removed. This is best done by using very hot water to soften the beeswax, which can then be wiped off with a towel or kitchen towel. ATTENTION! Even the handle is covered in beeswax. Also, keep in mind that if you want to put the pan in the oven, you must remove the small rubber plug at the top of the shaft.
