Wet sea salt from the salt marshes of Guerande in Brittany, harvested by hand using traditional methods and naturally rich in minerals and trace elements that vanish in refined table salt. It works both during cooking to lift flavours and as a finishing touch scattered straight over the plate at serving.
The moisture content and grain structure of this salt mean it should only be used in Peugeot's wet salt mills with a ceramic mechanism, such as the Oleron for sea salt. An ordinary salt mill can clog up and simply cannot handle this kind of salt. Delivered in six airtight sachets of 50 g each with triple protection against air, light and moisture.
