The scale ships with HOLD as the default setting. This setting is completely useless if you're weighing things that don't move (but brilliant for checking that your baby is gaining weight!). To use the scale the way you actually want it to work, hold the mode button for a few seconds until it reads HOLD-OFF and everything will feel right again. With a maximum capacity of 15kg, this scale rarely falls short in the kitchen, and its generously sized platform is designed to fit GN 1/2. Knolling fans, rejoice!
The scale is best suited for higher weights. For smaller amounts (under 20 grams), we recommend one of our ""diamond scales"" instead.
